I have a very interesting project that i would love some customers to get involved in. I recently read an article in one of my trade magazines about obesity in certain breeds of dogs , in particular Labradors & retreivers . The study wanted to look at wether these breeds have a predisposition to being genetically overweight , or if “lifestyle” has a bearing on the dogs weight issues .
Basically, the study are looking for dogs who don’t really fit the stereotypical labrador /retreiver who would eat all day & still look for more . They would like the exception to the rule, being the dogs that are not really interested in food , or can eat lots of food and DO NOT appear to put any weight on .
